Just returning from the Spoletto Arts Festival in Charleston, South Carolina, it is amazing how creative energy is contagious! I meet some amazing folks;artist, musicians, tourist and natives. People connecting and enjoying the art, the southern air and the gracious hospitality in search of the creative flow.
From the artistically presented "Fried Green Tomato Stack" served with the "Watermelon Martini" at the Marina, to the beautifully painted resin tabletops of a juried artist on Marion Square, or the soulful songs sung by the Divas in tribute to one of Charleston's renouned ironworks artist Phillip Simmons or the Reggae Band vibing in the garden under the moonlight, the flow of art was everywhere.
Artist collaborating about the evolution of art, artist discussing the pursuit of art and artist heartfelt expressions of how the life as an artist brings so much joy and freedom. There is something to be said about an artists' vacation.
The Rocklady, if you hadn't guessed, had an artistically great time!!
